How we check

Every 15 minutes our server checks a public test video from each platform — it reads the title and the list of available formats, exactly as when you paste a link. Once an hour it also downloads a short test video from the busiest platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X). A platform is “working” when every check of the latest round passed, “down” when every check failed for about 30 minutes in a row, and “degraded” in between. The 7-day rate is the share of successful checks over the last week.
