What this Reels downloader does
Instagram lets you save a Reel only inside the app, and that bookmark disappears the moment the author deletes the post. EasyDownloads gives you the actual video file instead: paste a link to a public Reel, and we fetch the MP4 Instagram uses for playback — with sound — and hand it to you without compressing it again.
You never sign in to Instagram here, and we do not need your account: we only work with posts that anyone can open. The file keeps the vertical 9:16 frame and plays on any phone, computer or TV.
People use it to keep a recipe, a workout or a travel tip for offline viewing, to recover their own Reels when the original is gone from the camera roll, or to collect references for a project. Shortcut: put easydownloads.net/ in front of a Reel’s address — for example easydownloads.net/https://www.instagram.com/reel/… — and the page opens with the Reel already being analyzed.
Both instagram.com/reel/… and instagram.com/p/… links work, and there is no need to trim sharing parameters such as ?igsh=… from the end of the address.
How to download a Reel on your phone
- In Instagram, open the Reel, tap the paper-plane Share icon and choose Copy link.
- Open easydownloads.net in Safari, Chrome or another browser and paste the link into the field at the top of this page.
- Give it a moment while we check the post; the video in its original quality is preselected.
- Tap Download. On iPhone the file goes to Files → Downloads; open it and choose Share → Save Video to add it to Photos. On Android it lands in the Downloads folder and appears in your gallery.
How to download a Reel on a computer
- Open the Reel on instagram.com and copy the address from the browser bar — it looks like instagram.com/reel/…
- Paste it into the field on this page; the analysis starts automatically.
- Check the preview to make sure it is the right Reel.
- Click Download and find the MP4 in your Downloads folder.
Honest limits
- Public posts only. Reels from private accounts, Close Friends content and anything else that requires logging in cannot be downloaded — and we will never ask for your Instagram password to get around that.
- Quality: exactly what Instagram stores for that Reel, usually 720p or 1080p vertical. We do not upscale or re-encode the video, so it cannot get better than the original — or worse.
- Sound is included exactly as it plays in the post.
- Removed Reels and posts restricted in your country are not available. For other Instagram content, use our general Instagram downloader.
- Finished files are kept on our server for a few hours and then deleted automatically.
