How to copy the right video link
Find video share links on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube. Separate individual posts, short links and private-access problems.

A download starts with a link to one video, not a profile name, screenshot or search page. The most reliable approach is to open the original post, copy its sharing URL, and check what that URL actually opens. These steps help you supply the right input; they do not guarantee that a platform currently allows EasyDownloads.net to fetch it.
Open the original item first
Find the video on the platform that hosts it. If you reached it through a message or search result, open the original post before copying. Make sure the visible creator and video match the item you want and that you have permission to save it.
A browser address should start with an ordinary web scheme such as https. Do not paste embed HTML, an app-only command, a local file path or the entire message around a link. If the clipboard includes a caption and hashtags, copy just the URL without cutting off its identifying path or necessary parameters.
Where to copy links on common platforms
On TikTok, open the individual video, use the sharing arrow and look for Copy link. On Instagram, open the reel or post and look for Copy link in the sharing or options menu. Menu placement can vary between app versions; on the Instagram website, the post options include Copy link.
On Facebook, open the video or reel itself and check its Share or more-options menu for a link-copy action. If the app does not expose one, open the individual public post in a browser and copy its address. Do not substitute the page or group homepage.
On X, open the post containing the video, use its share control and choose the link-copy option. On YouTube, open a single video, choose Share and then Copy. A channel address or playlist is not an individual video input. These instructions describe link copying only, not current extractor availability.
Short links, app links and extra text
A short sharing URL can legitimately redirect to the full post. If it opens the wrong page or only launches an app, use the platform’s browser view and copy the final video address instead. Do not use unfamiliar link-expansion sites or enter credentials on a redirect page you do not trust.
Keep the original link intact at first. Some parameters identify the resource or grant intended link-based viewing, so deleting every character after a question mark is not a safe universal fix. Never publish a sensitive invitation link while asking for help.
Check visibility without confusing it with availability
Being able to watch while signed in does not mean a server can access the same post. A private account, restricted group, membership requirement or deleted video remains restricted even when its URL was copied correctly. An authorized signed-out browser check can reveal a login barrier, but a login screen alone does not prove the post is private.
Platforms can also block server traffic while a public video still plays on your phone. If EasyDownloads.net reports a platform problem, check the status page rather than repeatedly copying the same address. These steps do not claim that YouTube access has been restored.
Paste, analyze and choose
Paste the clean URL into EasyDownloads.net and start analysis. Check the returned item and actual format list before selecting video or audio and starting processing. Save the completed file through the browser. If the wrong item appears, stop and return to the original post.
For an invalid-link error, recopy once from the video page and remove surrounding text. For private, deleted or platform-blocked results, use the relevant access or status guidance instead. Changing a correct URL repeatedly cannot create missing media or grant access.
